The Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection is a historic boutique hotel in Kansas City's Country Club Plaza area. Built in 1928, the nine-story brick building is an example of Italian Renaissance Revival architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The lobby features a gold-leaf ceiling, travertine marble flooring, French canopy chairs, and chandeliers.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was beautifully appointed with quality furniture, and the service from housekeeping to the Chaz restaurant and lounge staff was exceptional. The location was ideal, just minutes away from the shops and restaurants of the Plaza, making it easy to explore the area. However, the dining options could have been more diverse, and specific facilities were a bit lacking.
